Oriental Magpie Robin is a song bird occurring in most part of Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. They are common birds in urban gardens as well as forests. It is a resident breeder in Pakistan. Its breeding season is between March and July. It lays about 4 to 5 eggs per clutch which hatches in about 14 days. Its IUCN status is listed as least concern but it is threatened in Pakistan due to loss of habitat and poaching for pet bird trade. | Bader Munir
