7:30 PM STORM UPDATE Nothing severe with these storms as they move into Lake County—just good old fashioned thunderstorms. We have heavy rain, some lightning, and small hail at best right now as these storms will push into Porter County within the next 20 minutes. Will keep a watchful eye on these and any additional storms that pop but as mentioned earlier this afternoon, our lower instability and weaker atmospheric dynamics are helping us tonight. Hopefully this will continue to be the case! |

LAKE SNOW RETURNS Another cold day today, but attention will turn our lake effect snow chances later this week. I continue to see a decent wind shift coming our way lake Thursday into Friday (and maybe Saturday) that should bring a decent lake effect band of snow into northwest Indiana.
