After checking out the barge again this morning, we will continue with closer for now. We will check again this afternoon and hopefully with the small warm up today and tomorrow we will reopen. As of now there are 4 inches of solid ice as you’ll see in the following video. Yesterday we accessed the barge and as you can see in the video the ice was still 3-4 inches thick. We did however decide to take hammers and a large crowbar and see if we could break all the ice up. After a couple of hours we succeeded. 😁we hope to reopen the barge today once the sun melts the thin layer of ice coating the boards. I will update in a few hours! | Lake Kickapoo Fish Camp
