Iranian singer Habib Mohebian, known simply as Habib, became a symbol of soulful expression in Persian music. His 1977 breakout album Mard-e Tanhaye Shab (“The Lonely Man of the Night”) was born from deep personal tragedy — the loss of both his wife and mother within two months.
