Secure attachment relationships give us a solid sense of our worthiness for connection, a clear idea of what secure relating looks and feels like, and an alliance with our bodies and emotions. Insecure attachment experiences leave our relational backpack without all the things we need to feel secure in ourselves and our adult relationships.
