Back on this pike study today whilst waiting for the latest layer on the tench to dry. When people ask " is painting relaxing?" the answer much of the time is definitely not, but it can be, especially when focused on details like adding these little gold edges that pike scales have. We just wrapped up stocking 2,135 adult northern pike into Cottonwood Pond Park in Bismarck. We also made improvements to the earthen fishing piers to provide better shore access. Now is a great time for anglers to wet a line at Cottonwood Pond, our other community ponds across the state, or any of our other 400 fishing waters.
