This month marks one year since the opening of the new patient care tower at UPMC Hamot. The 200,000 square foot facility, which opened on February 2, 2021, includes the expansions of the imaging department, trauma neuro intensive care unit (TNICU), cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU), and medical intensive care unit (MICU), as well as the addition of a new 3T MRI.
