A powerful earthquake has rocked the pacific. A magnitude 7 earthquake struck off the main island of the Solomon Islands. It was at a depth of 10 kilometres and was felt in the capital Honiara. An initial Tsunami warning with waves up to 1 metre was cancelled about 90 minutes after the quake struck.There are no indications as yet of any injuries.
