SOUND UP!! Take a sunrise walk with us around the sanctuary and this is what you see and hear. This bald eagle is one of a nesting pair that lives across Arnold's Creek from our property. They have been successfully raising at least 2 eaglets every year for at least 3 years. They are often seen here at Red Wolf and sometimes come to visit our resident raptors. Majestic wolves, beautiful snow, the call of the wild.... or maybe a little practice??? Our wolves must be having a bit of stage freight. With a little more practice, we can host our first HOWL PROWL, previously referred to as OWL PROWL. We did a test run and although we know there are wild owls at the sanctuary, we couldn't hear them with all of the howling which started right around dusk! INTEGRITY HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!!! After a lengthy rehabilitation, our beloved bald eagle, Integrity, has finally been released. Our 1 o'clock tour was able to witness this incredible experience with the staff at Red Wolf and we didn't even charge extra!!! After the loss of the eagle last week, this is definitely a mood booster!!! We still have that happy fuzzy feeling hours later. What a great day!!
