The National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin, re-positioned some rolling stock inside its Lenfestey Center, leading to an interesting sight -- a 1957 diesel-electric locomotive pulling a 1917 steam locomotive (U.S. Army #101 Pershing, also known as #8341), which in turn was pulling a wood-frame Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad snow plow (built circa 1910). The National Railroad Museum's Sumter & Choctaw #102 locomotive was moved out from the McCormick Pavilion and to the shop yesterday for a power wash and checkup before it leads train rides later this week.
