OK Gang, here is a GREAT video we did back in 2004! It is of an AVG “Flying Tiger” Reunion we hosted at Fantasy of Flight, where I got to take up five of the ORIGINAL AVG pilots in the only ORIGINAL WWII-built TP-40 on the Planet! I let each one of them taxi and fly a bit and, as you will see, it brought back a lot of memories, as NONE OF THEM had been in a P-40 since 1942! As you can imagine, this brought back a LOT of great memories for me as well, and a few tears, so I hope you enjoy it as mu

It is still on display in the EAA Museum and, one day, will be disassembled and brought back to Florida. Since it has not flown for over three decades, it will need a detailed inspection of its 75-year old wood structure and a total restoration before it will fly again.
