Johnny Weissmuller the actor famous for playing Tarzan won five Olympic gold medals for swimming, three in 1924 and two in 1928. His Olympic victories in the 100-meter freestyle, 400-meter freestyle, and 4x200-meter relay were in Paris, and he won the 100-meter freestyle and 4x200-meter relay in Amsterdam.
