Some Barbadians continue to voice their opposition and concern about decisions which they say are being made with little regard for citizens’ rights. Around 100 people hit the streets today for the Mek More Noise Protest March – Barbadians Stand Up for Rights & Justice. The gathering comprises a number of pressure groups and people who call themselves The Loyal Opposition. It started at Kensington Mall, Fontabelle, made its way through The City and ended at Independence Square. Video by Shanice

Update: The victim of today’s shooting incident in Bush Hall, St Michael, has died. He had been at St Hill Funeral Home on Bush Hall Main Road, viewing the body of his brother who is scheduled to be buried on Friday, when gunfire erupted. Reports indicate the man was shot multiple times just as he was getting into a vehicle. He later succumbed to his injuries. His death marks the 27th homicide for the year.
