Rags to Riches was initially a made-for-tv movie, which served as the pilot for the series that aired for two seasons on NBC (1987-1988)! I loved everything about it as a 7/8-year-old! I don’t believe the show is streaming anywhere, but a lot of the episodes are on YouTube.
