Today, 19/09/2021 Marks 50 years since Tram 40 made its last run from Sebastopol to the depot ending Ballarat's street tramway network that had begun in 1887. This is W2 407 tram which runs along the Ballarat Tramway Museum track in Ballarat. In service 1931, 407 is one of the newer trams with most trams that run over 100 years old. Here's Geelong 2 Tram at the Ballarat Tramway Museum. The tram is the only one of its type that opened the Geelong Tramway in 1912. The tram sits on permanent show at the museums indoor tram display.
