Chatting in a Zoom meeting
The in-meeting Zoom chat feature allows you to send instant messages to other users within a meeting or a private message to an individual participant. You can delete your messages, reply in threads, format your text, capture and send screenshots, react to messages with emojis, and more (if enabled).

Saving in-meeting chat - Zoom
You can save in-meeting chats to your computer or the Zoom Cloud either manually or automatically using the Zoom desktop client. If you save the chat locally to your computer, it will save any chats that you can see—those sent directly to you and those sent to everyone in the meeting or webinar.
Enabling or disabling meeting chat - Zoom
To enable or disable Meeting chat for your own use: Sign in to the Zoom web portal. In the navigation menu, click Settings. Click the Meeting tab. Under In Meeting (Basic), click the Meeting chat toggle to enable or disable it. Notes: If you disable Meeting chat, other features related to in-meeting chat will also be disabled.
