The D-pad on the pro controller wasn't that great to begin with, for example in BOTW when I wanted to select a rune it brought up the sword selection instead (right instead of up). Honestly the Elite mod hasn't made it any better, I'm gonna try it out in The Binding of Isaac and if it isn't any better I might change it back to the original D-pad.

Sep 20, 2019 · Xbox buttons are layered different than nintendo buttons, so pressing A in the xbox one controller physically will translate in B in a switch game or menu, the same for X and Y, if you press X it will count as Y and viceversa, but dont worry, you will press the place instead of the letter, so for jumping you will press the botton one by instinct.

I dunno, the comment is over the top but the guy has a point, I haven’t seen a controller having these kinds of issues, and the joycons are also pretty bad. The controller’s price is also very steep, and considering the way joycon drift went, I certainly wish Nintendo would do something about this. Many people seem to be affected.

Feb 2, 2020 · The switch pro is a bit tighter than the xbox controller but the response is pretty linear. They are both smoother than the ps4 controller which i cant get used too. If it were me, I’d save my money for a game rather than a switch pro controller. Other poster is right though, the drift issues were not with the pro controller.
