Oct 9, 2020 · I ordered a Leap V2 WITH a headrest like an absolute muppet and I was so disappointed. Thanks to this post I've managed to remove the headrest and install an engineered now H4. Removal was a combination of a video on how to remove the backrest, and the comments in another reddit post about needing a thin socket wrench to take out the nuts.

Going to attempt to 3d model and print an attachment for this headrest. Hopefully add support for adjustable headrest depth. I wanna avoid drilling/screws. Might use some 3M VHB double-sided tape.

Jun 3, 2021 · The initial issue was that the headrest was sitting far too forward and was pushing my neck forward instead of my neck being neutral when I don't need to lean back to lounge. I found that 3 spacers to put some distance between the headrest and the back of the Leap v2 was good but if I had a longer bolt I could have added 4 spacers on each.

I purchased a Leap V2 from btod and purchased the Atlas cushion Headrest for Herman Miller Aeron. A user on Reddit posted files for a 3d printed adapter which I uploaded and had made for me by Craftcloud for 20 dollars. I installed the adapter without needing any drilling into the chair and the headrest installs right into it.
