UPDATE: Winter weather advisory previously issued will expire at 10 a.m., says the NWS
The advisory was for Western Siskiyou County. "Snow showers will continue through this afternoon, but snow levels will also gradually rise and amounts are expected to remain below advisory criteria," states the NWS Medford OR. The advisory is in effect until 10 a.m.

On Saturday at 2:31 p.m. an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the NWS Blacksburg VA valid from Sunday 1 p.m. until Monday 7 p.m. The advisory is for Surry, Stokes, Rockingham, Caswell, Wilkes and Yadkin counties.
