Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, on an official visit to Beijing, met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday (27 January), as part of efforts to strengthen India-China relations, reported The Hindu.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said the improvement in China-India relations is in the fundamental interests of the two countries and their people.

Beijing: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri Monday called on Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and discussed issues of bilateral interest. Misri is here on a two-day visit for talks with Chinese officials to improve India-China relations.
