A New Jersey lottery player won $1 million in Wednesday's Powerball. No one hit the jackpot and only the one NJ ticket matched all five white balls to win a second-tier prize, according to the Powerball website. It was not immediately known where in Jersey the $1 million winning ticket was sold.

The Powerball jackpot has gone unclaimed since Aug. 19, when a California player won the $44 million grand prize, lottery officials said. To score a jackpot in the Powerball, a player must match all five white balls and the red Powerball.

The NJ Lottery is still keeping the location of where the million-dollar ticket was sold a secret, but if you were playing the Powerball this week the winning numbers were 1, 11, 22, 47, and 68. The Powerball drawn was 7 with a Power Play of 4X according to NJ.com.

The New York Lottery announced the winning ticket for the Sept. 18 drawing matched four white balls and the red Powerball. It was sold at Hartley Pharmacy, located at 1219 Amsterdam Ave., in Manhattan.
