American football player Jalen Hurts was absent from the White House as his team celebrated their Super Bowl championship because of a “scheduling conflict”. Quarterback Hurts was among several Eagles players who chose to skip the visit to the White House on Monday (28 April),

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – President Donald Trump hosted the 2025 Super Bowl champions at the White House Monday. The Philadelphia Eagles are the reigning champs but several players, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, did not attend the celebration. Hurts and other players said they were unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts.

The Eagles didn't visit the White House after winning Super Bowl LII in February 2018. That victory came during Donald Trump's first term in office, and after several players made it clear they would be skipping the event if the Eagles went to the White House, Trump decided to rescind the team's invitation .
