The show continues the journey of John and Quiet, who have to participate in the dangerous Twisted Metal tournament. As they enter the competition, they are threatened by some familiar faces and some new enemies.

He doesn't know his real name, he doesn't remember his parents and has no real information to connect to his true identity. Season 2 digs into these themes by reuniting John with his long-lost sister, Dollface.

The second season is an improvement over the first because it remembered that character development is pretty important.
