A suspected domestic dispute and an apparent car burglary led to Fort Worth's first two homicides of 2025, police said.

Detectives with the Fort Worth Police Department are investigating the city’s first two homicides of 2025, officials said in a statement Wednesday morning. The first homicide occurred at around 1 a.m. at a residence in the 8800 block of Sabinas Trail, according to police call records.
