Five people were taken to the hospital and an Aurora man is now in jail after police say he stole a truck, drove it to Glendale, and got into a head-on collision with another car while allegedly under the influence Saturday night.
A severe geomagnetic storms is expected to trigger a much wider area of visible Northern Lights in the U.S. on Sunday and Monday nights, NOAA said.

A woman and a juvenile were also injured in the shooting near Aurora Fire Rescue Station 2 in the 12600 block of East Hoffman Boulevard, police said.
The unidentified officer shot Rashaud Terrelle Johnson, 32, near a parking lot in the 19900 block of East 56th Avenue after hours of 911 calls from employees at the lot, Aurora Police Department Chief Todd Chamberlain said at a news conference.
