Officials with the Rocky Mountain Reptile Expo were working with emergency officials and the homeowners to try to help find new temporary or permanent homes for the animals who survived.

Mountain State Reptile and Amphibian Rescue is the only nonprofit reptile and amphibian rescue in the area. The rescue assists people with unwanted reptiles or amphibians that could be dangerous.
