A very special car made an appearance during the Super Bowl halftime show performance on Sunday night, with Kendrick Lamar taking a victory lap for his rap battle with Canadian rapper Drake in a 1987 Buick GNX.

Samuel L. Jackson played emcee to Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show. “Salutations! It’s your uncle, Sam, and this is the great American game!” Jackson said done-up in red white and blue. Lamar’s appeared crouched atop a Buick Grand National Experimental — the car his newest album, “GNX,” is named for.
