Following a December complaint, Lake Travis Superintendent Paul Norton has resigned. The school district will begin s search for a new leader.

The Lake Travis ISD school board has accepted the superintendent's resignation after a complaint of misconduct.

Lake Travis ISD voted during a special meeting on Friday night to dismiss Superintendent Paul Norton and allow him to resign. The move came after several hours of discussion and consultation with attorneys behind closed doors in closed session.

The Lake Travis ISD board of trustees voted to accept the immediate resignation of Superintendent Paul Norton following an investigation into allegations of misconduct.
