In its latest update, OpenAI loaded ChatGPT-4o with one key new feature: an upgraded image generator. The chatbot is now better, smarter, and more aware of context when it comes to making images.

When DALL-E first launched, it lived on its standalone website; since then, it has moved to ChatGPT. The move came with many benefits, including being able to ask the AI chatbot for an image you want in the same interface where you're already chatting about something else, thereby eliminating the need for constant context switching.

OpenAI has introduced “Images in ChatGPT,” allowing users to generate images directly within ChatGPT using GPT-4o. This feature is available across Free, Plus, Pro, and Team subscription tiers, with the free tier having a usage limit similar to DALL-E’s.
