Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson and Anne Hathaway are among the cast for the director’s take on the epic poem.

Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon and more are set to star in the adaptation of the Greek epic Christopher Nolan is tackling a classic epic as his next project. On Monday, Dec. 23, Universal Pictures revealed that the Oppenheimer director will be adapting Homer’s The Odyssey into a star-studded feature set to release in 2026.

The film has shared news of its cast, which includes some of the most exciting actors working today, including Tom Holland and Zendaya, in their fourth project together, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, and Matt Damon .

Nolan is also behind epic films including “Inception,” “The Dark Knight,” “Dunkirk” and his most recent film “Oppenheimer,” which scored big at last year’s Oscars when it took home the trophy for best picture. Nolan won that award as a producer, and also took home the Academy Award for best director.
