Reuters has hired Sally Buzbee, former executive editor of The Washington Post and The Associated Press, to be its top news editor in the United States and Canada.

Former Washington Post and Associated Press executive editor Sally Buzbee will join Reuters next month as its news editor for the US and Canada.

Sally Buzbee will join Reuters as news editor for the United States and Canada. She will start on Dec. 11. Buzbee previously served as the executive editor of The Washington Post and as the executive editor and senior vice president of The Associated Press.
