"The Bad Guys 2" hits theaters, and it's a wild ride. But as Associated Press critic Mark Kennedy says, that ride includes a head-scratching trip to outer space.

While the DreamWorks sequel doesn't quite recapture the spark of surprise that made the first outing such a pleasant detour, it still delivers where it counts.
