Aces star center A'ja Wilson ruled out against Mystics after suffering a wrist injury in last outing against Liberty
Wilson injured her right wrist during Tuesday's 87-78 loss to the New York Liberty. In the second quarter, she fell after driving to the basket against Leonie Fiebich. Wilson shot her ensuing free throws and was able to leave the court unassisted. But she eventually left the game and did not return after halftime.
Wilson, a three-time MVP, was injured in the Aces' 87-78 loss at New York on Tuesday night. She fell hard to the floor in the second quarter. Wilson briefly remained in the game, but left for good with 2:22 left in the first half. She underwent an MRI, but the Aces have not made the results public.
The Aces’ struggles center more on inconsistency, although reigning MVP A’ja Wilson did miss some time with a concussion. However, Las Vegas has some legitimate issues. The Liberty are a five-point home favorite Tuesday with a total of 165.5 points.
