A Russian drone struck an apartment building in a city in southeastern Ukraine, one day after President Trump rebuked Russia's leader.

(Reuters) - Air defence units were in action in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv early on Thursday, the city's mayor and the head of the military administration said on Telegram. Reuters witnesses reported a series of loud explosions in various parts of the capital, particularly on the east bank of the Dnipro River bisecting the city.
