At the scene, the victim’s sedan could be seen mangled and the front of the suspect’s truck was heavily damaged. Debris from the vehicle was found near the scene.

Police responded to reports of a wrong-way driver on Route 3, headed south in Plymouth shortly before midnight. A State Police trooper found a two-car crash at mile marker 9.2 that appeared to be related to the call, according to Massachusetts State Police Department spokesperson Tim McGuirk.

Phoenix police are searching for the driver who was involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash Thursday night. The incident happened Thursday just before 7 p.m. near 16th and Dunlap avenues. Officials say a crash involved an unknown vehicle and 43-year-old Leandro Antonio.
