After a chilly month and a very brisk and cold Thursday, believe it or not, there is rain on the way for the final day of January. Snow lovers don't click away just yet!  There is some wintry weather in the forecast Friday as

Rain showers are expected to begin in the early afternoon, moving from west to east across the state. Most of Massachusetts, including Boston, Worcester and Western Massachusetts, can expect to see rain the rest of the day as temperatures are forecast to reach the low 40s. The Berkshires could experience a mix of rain and light snow.

A quick-moving storm brought snow to Massachusetts overnight, causing slick driving conditions and delaying the start of school in many communities on Wednesday.
