The US president has set up a walk of fame within the White House where he appears to have analysed former American leaders.

He was known for covering the Vietnam and Gulf Wars - and for interviewing both Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.

Peter Arnett, the Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter who became one of the world's foremost combat correspondents, died Wednesday at 91, according to U.S. media reports.
