Another afternoon of heavy rainfall has prompted flash flooding in the southern New Mexico mountain village of Ruidoso.

The East Coast was slammed with torrential rain and flash flooding Monday that killed at least two people, turned streets into rivers, shut down subways, stranded drivers and prompted water rescues.
