CINCINNATI — The Bearcats football team took its winter workouts to Nippert Stadium recently for some tug of war and other team-building activities. Check out the squad in action as they continue bulking up ahead of the 2025 season:

University of Cincinnati Bearcats football has added another tight end to complement NFL prospect Joe Royer and returning quarterback Brendan Sorsby. Patrick Gurd, who just helped the Ohio State Buckeyes win a national championship,

Ohio State football dealt with a few departures via the transfer portal, but as we always say, once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye, and we want to continue to follow and cheer on all our former Ohio State players.

Cincinnati has added some depth to its tight end room. Ohio State tight end Patrick Gurd is transferring to the school after visiting Cincinnati this past Thursday. Joe Royer's former teammate has appeared in 22 games across his Buckeye career with two catches for 15 yards.
