Chicago Blackhawks forward Taylor Hall made a revealing comment about his future with Connor Bedard and the franchise ahead of the NHL trade deadline.

Taylor Hall is enjoying a resurgent campaign with the Blackhawks, but there's a good chance the veteran will be getting a change of scenery.

According to the Athletic, the Blackhawks could get third-round picks for the pending UFAs. Donato is currently on pace to set a career high in goals and points, and Hall, who isn’t having as productive of a season as he has in the past, had found his game for a bit when playing with Bedard.

The Blackhawks acquired Hall and now-captain Nick Foligno from the Bruins on June 26, 2023, to be a mentor and potential linemate for Connor Bedard, Chicago's No. 1 pick in the 2023 NHL Draft. Hall missed most of last season after having surgery on his right knee in November 2023 and has played up and down the forward lines this season.

The Chicago Blackhawks are not playing good hockey this season. The Blackhawks made major moves in NHL Free Agency to improve the supporting cast around Connor Bedard. Moreover, former Hart Trophy winner Taylor Hall was set to return after the veteran winger missed most of 2023-24 with an injury.

Taylor Hall is a depth player at this point in his NHL career. He isn’t the number one pick/Hart Trophy winner he once was but he can still contribute offense at a medium level. A contender with high-end scoring at the top of the lineup would love to add a guy like Hall to the middle-six.
