In the second quarter of the Bucks game vs. the Nets, guard Andre Jackson Jr. was ejected for slapping Nets center Nic Claxton in the face.

Late in the second quarter, Andre Jackson Jr. was trying to apply pressure in the backcourt when Nets big man Nic Claxton got in the way. Claxton put his hands on Jackson, and Jackson hit him with both of his hands to express his need for personal space.

Brooklyn won the season series against Milwaukee by holding off the Bucks' furious fourth quarter rally Thursday night.

It is has not been easy to watch Nic Claxton play basketball for the Brooklyn Nets this season. Now nearing the halfway point of his sixth NBA season, such a sentence was previously unthinkable for the #31 pick in 2019.

Claxton contributed 14 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 113-98 loss to the Pistons. The 25-year-old center is getting leaned on more heavily while the Nets deal with a wave of injuries.
