Another challenger emerges for Samoa Joe's world title on AEW Collision

Samoa Joe is officially set to defend his World Championship at AEW's upcoming pay-per-view. The Tony Khan-led company has now made a massive announcement regarding the revered veteran's immediate on-screen future.
During Collision, it was also announced that Kris Statlander would defend the AEW Women’s Championship against Jamie Hayter on December 27. The two were successful on Saturday, defeating The Sisters of Sin. Backstage after the match, Hayter issued the challenge for Worlds End. Statlander accepted, but the two started to argue right after.

Joe’s salute was a subtle nod to the retiring legend, delivered with a heelish look on his face so as to not contradict the story he and Eddie Kingston were telling in the ring. It came after a slam out of a fireman’s carry on Kingston that looked a lot like an Attitude Adjustment, and after Joe locked in the STF.
