Javonte Green welcomed by the Cleveland Cavaliers
CLEVELAND (WJW/AP) — The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Sunday they have officially signed Javonte Green to the team, adding yet another rotation piece to help in their quest to do well in the playoffs. The 31-year-old guard/forward comes to the Cavs after he was waived by the New Orleans Pelicans.
Greens agreed to a buyout with the Pelicans on Wednesday and is expected to sign with the Cavaliers upon clearing waivers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
