Snow and icy conditions are contributing to a day off from school for Jackson-area students on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

The radar expectation at 1 p.m. Sunday shows the snow will be over for several hours by then for the western half of Lower Michigan. The snow will be ending in the early afternoon in the Thumb.
