A Superior Court judge on Wednesday rejected a request to lower the $200,000 bond for the UNC tree explosion suspect.

A home security camera captured the explosion on March 15 shows the tree blow-up from the impact, sending debris scattering across the yard.

Officials said that due to all the rain, a tree fell on the home's gas meter and caused an explosion that sparked the fire.
