An off-duty Lewisville police officer was arrested on Friday morning, charged with sexual assault of a child, the Lewisville Police Department confirmed.

Court documents state that Officer Joshua Arroyos was arrested after an incident on November 27, 2025. The victim alleges that Arroyos threw a metal barstool, striking the victim's head. The victim had to get two staples for a wound to the back of the head.
