The Loggers stormed to an 8-2 lead with 4:37 to go in the opening quarter. Lapwai came back to cut the lead to one, but Potlatch closed the first quarter up 17-10. The lead wouldn't last for long.

It was former Eureka Logger Cooper Ohlsen who got the start on the mound for the Eagles and fared well against the Crabs, going 5.2 innings and allowing just two runs while striking out four.
