A man was found dead in a car in the Ivanhoe neighborhood after ShotSpotter alerted Kansas City police; authorities are investigating the homicide and seeking suspects.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A suspect is in custody after a shooting in Winton Hills and an ensuing police chase Tuesday, according to Cincinnati police. Around 2:45 p.m., police say officers were called to the 4700 block of Este Avenue for a reported shooting. A shooting victim was found at the Este Avenue scene, police explained.

Officials said there was a confrontation followed by an exchange of gunfire, leading to an officer shooting a 19-year-old, who died. It was unclear who shot first.
