After the "twisties" forced her to withdraw early from the 2020 Tokyo Games, Simone Biles made a triumphant return at the Olympics in Paris last summer and became the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history.

Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history with 41 Olympic and world championship medals, did not have anything to prove at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. She was competing in her third Olympics purely for herself,
