SmackDown's scenery is getting an update. Last week, former two-time NXT women's champion Jacy Jayne made her main roster debut. Fatal Influence, which includes Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, laid out half the women's division, leading to a match on Friday between Jayne and Charlotte Flair.
WWE SmackDown on May 1 took place at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla., and featured a tag match between Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga against The Usos. The Backlash build continued, featuring a pair of tag title matches and Cody Rhodes’ return to action.
That is when Ricky Saints' entrance music hit, and SmackDown's newest star walked to the ring. He insulted the crowd a bit before focusing on the champion. He said Rhodes is barely hanging on and his title reigns have aged him 30 years.
